About this event
CALLING ALL WRITERS \(and curious readers/listeners\)!! The Peterborough Town Library and Monadnock Underground host a free form monthly OPEN MIC for writers of all genres and levels of experience! Held on the second Thursday of every month. Poetry, prose, something you're not even sure what it is - bring it on down! You can sign up as you arrive at 5:30.In an effort to keep things relaxed, loose, and informal, we are hoping to avoid fixed rules like maximum length; we'll simply ask that readers be mindful of how many others are signed up to read and the fact that we will have a hard stop at 7 pm. Though there will be no formal group-critique of any readings, this is a great chance for any writers who ARE interested in feedback to get some audience reactions.
