About this event
Attention middle and high schoolers of Panem! Please join us for a book discussion of Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins, where we'll discuss our favorite moments, our heartbreak, and our hopes for the film adaptation all while crafting our own district tokens out of salt dough, just like Maysilee! Then, on Saturday, November 21st (showtime TBD), join us at Keene Cinemas 6 to finally watch Sunrise on the Reaping and see how the film stacks up to the novel! Is McKenna Grace as perfect as Maysilee as we anticipated? Will Haymitch and Louella's friendship make Teen Librarian Eleanor cry as much as it did when she read the book? Let's find out together! KPL will cover the tickets and provide a concessions voucher for book club attendees, and limited spots are available. In order to have your ticket and concessions voucher, you must register and participate in the book club. Transportation to Keene Cinemas 6 is NOT provided. Email EGreen@KeeneNH.gov with any questions or for help getting your hands on a copy of Sunrise on the Reaping.
