Join MAXT’s studio assistant, Kanan Kalke, in learning basic skills and techniques for a unique material: silver clay! Using a combination of clay techniques and traditional metalsmithing skills, students will create a small pendant or charm of their chosen shape/design that will be soldered to a jump ring and cleaned up and polished to be worn. Silver clay is a premium jewelry material, after the firing process which burns away the binder material, your finished piece is genuine fine silver. Perfect for wearing with style this winter, or a unique last minute holiday gift.
