About this event
Max ZT is a Grammy-nominated hammered dulcimer artist redefining the instrument’s role in contemporary music. Known for his innovative technique and global approach, he has recorded extensively across genres, contributing to a wide range of studio, collaborative, and film projects. Max leads the internationally touring trio House of Waters and is a core creative partner with Priya Darshini, Manu Delago, Dan Whitehouse, and Karsh Kale, reflecting his ongoing work across experimental, cinematic, and cross-cultural music. His sound draws from deep study with the Cissoko Griot family in Senegal and Pandit Shivkumar Sharma in India, shaping a distinctive modern voice.
