About this event
Jim Carrey's strong performance drives this inspired satire of the media. He plays the unwitting star of a reality-TV show chronicling his life; Linney costars as his wife; and Ed Harris netted a Best Supporting Actor nomination as the show's director. Peter Weir directed and received an Oscar nomination of his own. Starring: Jim Carrey, Ed Harris, Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich, Natascha McElhone. Paramount Pictures, PG, 1998, 103 minutes.
