St. John's Church will host its annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, November 21 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at 26 Elm Street, Walpole, New Hampshire, continuing a beloved and festive tradition now in its fourth decade. The centerpiece of the fair is St. John's "Cookies by the Pound." Shoppers select from dozens of varieties of homemade Christmas cookies: - traditional favorites like gingerbread, shortbread, and sugar cookies, seven-layer bars, ginger snaps and more - international holiday classics such as German pfeffernüsse and Mexican wedding cookies - and New England specialties like maple stars, hermits and whoopie pies. The fair will also feature baked goods, including pies, chocolate tarts, plum puddings and dinner rolls, along with fresh wreaths and swags for your holiday decor (handmade from materials foraged in Walpole’s forests), handcrafted birdhouses, antiques and home goods. Credit cards, ApplePay, checks and cash accepted. The fair takes place alongside the Thanksgiving Farmers Market on Walpole Common, the Walpole Firefighters Auxiliary Crafts Fair at the Walpole Town Hall and the UCC’s Mistletoe Mart — a packed day of holiday shopping and fun in Walpole!
