About this event
For early-stage small business owners, this online workshop covers the fundamentals of keeping business and personal money separate, tracking receipts and records, and building a simple monthly money rhythm that nourishes them & their business’s future. Register HERE About the Instructor Gwen Pokalo Hart is an applied economist, lifelong side-hustler, and enthusiastic hype-person for anyone with a spark of an idea. She’s the Founder and Chief Financial Enthusiast at Hart’s Revival, an awakened approach to finance and strategy for small businesses and the communities they shape. With more than 20 years building inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems, Gwen brings deep expertise in community & economic development, policy, and community finance. She serves on several boards focused on equitable capital access and community wellbeing, and has also run her own ventures. Gwen believes the side hustle is one of the most effervescent tools of economic empowerment. Her favorite side hustle was as a singing telegram. When she’s not teaching or consulting, basking in life with a toddler, reading a thriller/feminist horror, or finding ways to be active.
