About this event
, Come gather for an evening of poetry, music, art, and dancing at this special Musical Pathways collaboration with Avenue A and local teens. Avenue A young artists will share their poetry, music, dance, and visual art alongside chamber music performed by violinist Marji Gere and pianist Dan Sedgwick. The evening begins with an art gallery viewing, socializing, and appetizers, followed by performances by Avenue A youth and chamber music. Audience members of all ages will be invited to explore creative ways of listening and responding to the music. Then we’ll end the night with a waltz—everyone is invited to dance! The evening has an evocative nighttime theme, and fancy dress is encouraged.
