About this event
Part of the Park Theatre's Filmmaker's Series. Ticket includes the film and a talk back with the director, David Abel. IN THE WHALE is a feature-length documentary film about arguably the greatest fish story ever told, though this one is true. It’s the account of Michael Packard, a Cape Cod fisherman, who survived to tell the tale of being swallowed by a whale, and what happened after he was spit out. "The film is a frontrunner for best of the year, period ... Astonishing with emotional impact." — Moviegoing " "A must-see film...spectacular." — Montauk Sun "In the Whale is a truly unforgettable feature film ... It's a captivating and astonishing true story of survival, resilience, and the power of nature that left us contemplating the unbelievable." — Key Biscayne Film Festival
